The guys you're talking about have adopted a Boomer mindset that all cops are Andy Griffith rather than uniformed thugs. I'm sure you've seen the linked video; cops will lie about you said, or take what you said and fill in the gaps with their own narrative to serve you up to the DA's office -- all so they can say "case closed" and go home to beat their wives.

I said this before, but If I were a zogtrooper pig, there would be a list of things that I would refuse to do, my job be damned.

1. Domestic Disturbances: If you try to intervene with an angry breeder pair, they both turn on you. No thanks.

2. Eviction Notices: If you try to take someones "castle" away because they aren't paying the bills, that means you want them to become homeless dirt peasant mendicants living on the shit covered nigger highway, which is a death sentence. Ergo, they might turn hostile on you and start a mage confrontation. No thanks.

I'm guessing it's similar to here in Sweden where at some points in certain investigations you are obliged to divulge information or be faced with charges of obstruction of justice. What you can do in that case is remember as little as possible, simply repeating "I don't know" has been enough to not catch any charges as you are technically helping the investigation to the best of your ability.

However if you are certain that the investigation is about you SHUT THE FUCK UP.
