I see that one as being on par with Lincoln magnanimously wanting to send the niggers back to Africa.
Politics 1) requires entrepreneurship which is why its stocked with lawyers and businessmen, not soldiers and farmers. 2) requires insane amount of narcissism. 3) requires investors. These investors (tiny hats) select whom they will elevate to positions.
This paired with a lack of faith in government means you will never get people who WANT to run for office being motivated on helping people.
