Philly is pretty sprawling in parts. You have the Northeast which is pretty suburban and White, South Philly still has some significant Italian and eastern European parts. Then there are many gentrified areas as well. But places like North Philly, West Philly, and Kensington are pretty much Haiti.
Coincidentally, only about 35% of Philadelphians are White. Surely this literacy problem doesn’t follow any sort of racial trend? Mainly blacks and latinos maybe?
I visited Philadelphia in 2007. The old parts of the city were pretty cool. The wharf was pretty cool. Lots of homeless people. Lots of blacks. Nothing about the city would ever interest me in going to visit ever again.
Edit: I just looked it up, looks like niggers and spics make up 59% of Philly's population. Surprisingly lower than I thought.
