I was in IT for 20 years, good pay, and looked at WGU. I had higher carts so I would have been able to accelerate the degree. Here was my problem. I was never once asked about my education in interviews. I was only asked to explain protocols and routing and switching shit. In IT you can make 6 figures without any education. If you have zero experience, go work at Best Buy and start moving your career. I only have a two year technical degree, but worked a lot after hours to get certs and was making 6 figures. Buddy didn’t even finish middle school did the same thing
