I worked at Radio Shack 12/13 years ago and the shit customers expected you to know. Dude we're all minimum wage and part time so they don't have to give benefits 🙄

It'd be nice to walk into a place and be able to ask for advice, but no one (read: Boomers) wants to pay more than slave wages for anything. Gotta save all that money so you get the highest score when you die.

Does Home Depot have older guys on staff teacher these kids about tools? Hell no.

Because minimum wage is so high, companies feel they don't need to train anymore; a $15/hour employee should just know everything.
