I've been a commercial and residential electrician for a little over 20 years. Started young.

Used to work in STEM but discovered I hate working in corporate environments, even at small companies. Got into general trades for five years then the place I was working for got bought and the new management decided to try to run the place like a corporation.

Currently "pre-tired", living off savings and odd jobs. I run low-budget, local political campaigns on occasion because, if I win, it's basically free money for 4 years.

I worked as a software engineer. While being highly qualified despite the lack of an education (degree), my pay rose well, but almost none of my work materialized itself in a product. In fact the large project I worked on for 2 years as its core designer was canned with 3 words in an e-mail by the company's boss when it was ~3 weeks from being done. I finished it anyway.

Then there was another project I worked on for 6 months, and even though it was meant to replace an existing ancient program, and was better in any shape or form, it was canned.

Anyway, currently my goal is to achieve independence, so I am working on my own project (which I worked on the side for years), which is a space combat/exploration game. It's of extreme difficulty, but that's fine.

Depending on the level of success I can use it for applications, continue alone or even expand to a business with employees. Overall it's still a risk to do, but independence is a reward worth fighting for.

Working in a factory making parts for cars. I have done roofing and residential construction as well.

Own a software company. Hire only whites.

used to do software dev and qa but they don't hire Whites in my area unless you prove your "liberal" loyalty and even then you are bottom of the barrel for positions yet have to do all of the work since the "diversity" they hire is completely incompetent and unqualified but they make 10%-50% more than you while doing nothing other than sabotaging the project with stupid ideas they sincerely think are amazing.

Went into food service, kitchen staff. Even worked halal for a while and know how various dietary restrictions! Now you need to get a certification called "SafeServe" because the sector is inundated with shitskins who don't even wash their hands. More than once I saw kitchen staff cleaning their FEET in the the slop sink. Management did nothing and chastised me for complaining.

General labor? You will be taken off a work assignment if a shitskin wants your shift.
