Snacks, food: This creature doesn't need more of those. But it says something important: Africans don't have the superabundance of junk food to which she is accustomed.

Electricity: This has actually been going backwards in a lot of Africa. South African electricity is much more intermittent today than it was in the past. Everywhere else is worse. Botswana, for instance, is reliant on South African electricity, producing little of its own.

Lizards: As a lizard lover, Africa has some fascinating species, like the African fire skink. I have a lizard watching this dumb groid speak right now. Groids, however, are unappreciative and worse than animals. Lizards are worth more than groids. The world would clearly benefit if every groid was replaced by an equal or greater number of lizards. For have you ever seen an AIDS-infested, drug-addicted, murdering, thieving lizard? 🦎

Why doesn't she try another part of Africa? Or the Caribbean? Why return to America? Because she now suspects, deeper than ever before, that living around the Whites is better than living around the George Groyds of the world after all.
