I found "Game of Thrones" to be the most depressing, demoralizing show I'd ever watched with the exception of "Black Mirror". The wife and I watched it together for a while, up to the episode that showed how Hodor got his name. I stopped watching both shows because they made me feel vaguely dirty and diminished afterward. I resolved from that experience that I won't watch anything but uplifting or morally instructive entertainment ever again.

Life is already hard. The nihilism of GoT appears enticingly realistic. I used it as a way to see what life is like without Christ.

My ex was watching it and asked me to join, i tried for 2 or 3 episodes but it only pisssed me off.

I found got disturbing and filled with so much unnecessary detail.

It also felt like some true psychopaths were directing it, so much violence and evil just for the sake of it, not even relevant or plot related.

Its a soap opera made by quentin tarantino

Everyone seems to bitch about last season, i saw parts of the 1st season and it turned me off
