I’ve had my own set up for 30 years because I don’t like.. the public. Only downside is that my woman hangs her clothes to dry all over my equipment. It’s a lot of clothes.

Work out and sweat all over her clothes, marking your territory.

Just like my work bench in the garage. Somehow, I have a purse collection.

Sounds to me like you have a need for a project or two. You got the bench, go make something.

And cedar smells like Heaven.

Yup. Recently I've been wanting to get into metal working. The price of all new tools has been an issue though.

That’s when you start using them as sweat rags when you work out. She’ll learn eventually.

yeah, dumb bells are great.

also good to get out of your place and meet people, get to know the regulars, learn to deal with people more easily. the quicker dealing with people feels more effortless to you, the better for your career & life. there is only like 6 types of people in the world.

Normies, NPCs, niggers, faggots, kikes, and white people(humans).

This so much. Especially when you’re first starting off, but even in general, you don’t need hardly anything to get in amazing shape. I’ve made a post a few times about how to start your own thing at home, and end up stronger and leaner than 99% of gym rats.

You met someone who goes to the gym to train as a hobby.

People like to share their hobbies.

If any of you are thinking of joining a gym, do it. Don't hesitate or overthink it, just do it.

I didn't start lifting until my 40s (during covid since they weren't closed). I didn't really know how to lift effectively until the gym instructor (a 5'2, nearly 60 year old woman) taught me. It's a fantastic adult class. This tiny gym instructor found out that I can take a joke, and we're all having a blast. I'll wipe some sweat off my face with my sleeve and she'll yell out "hey, are you over there crying!?" ..."Yeah!" I'll say back. Good stuff!

I'm finally able to do pull-ups unassisted for the first time ever, and now my son has joined with me (he just turned 13).

Join a gym guys. Don't think, just go and lift. Shut your brain off for a bit while you lift. Let the instructors do the planning and thinking for you, if you're just getting started.

This sounds kind of gay

Yesterday I lifted 20+ bags of dirt, dug up a tree, dug a hole, transplanted the tree, moved a bunch of tools around, hauled half a pallet of sod with no wheelbarrow, etc. Only I got paid for it while you forked over $50/mo for a gym membership that stinks and has faggots taking pictures in the mirrors

My muscles feel ripped. Plus i get far more movement doing real work than in some pulley and rope machine or redundant, repetitious lift at a gym. Only I don't have big popcorn muscles. I am deceivingly strong. I didn't suck down milkshakes of overpriced whey to get popcorn fake muscles.

Some guy was amazed i moved one of his palm trees because he said they usually use a mini skid steer for it. But i work with pikes and trees most of my time.

It's understandable how someone in the gay community might read what he wrote and not fully grasp his intended meaning.

Not everyone is so lucky to live in a rural place or have a manual labor job, pal. Men must do what they can to get stronger, and a gym (or build your own weightlifting platform, as another poster suggested) is a good option for men who live in cities and do sitting jobs.

I think I decked out one room with gym equipment and weights for less than $2000 getting second hand equipment and hauling it with my trailer. If you pay $720 per year for a gym membership, just put up $2500 for your own equipment and you break even in 3 years. But like i said i don't really use it because i just do manual work on farms

Wow, and that’s honestly high as fuck unless you just want some “Gucci” shit you don’t even really need just to mix it up more. There’s no reason anyone can’t get everything they need overtime to become a monster that will only take up a tiny bit of space for less than $800 tops. Honestly, that’s probably on the high end still. Some of the shit I’ve seen given away on FB marketplace is unreal. You may have to drive a little ways, but people give weights and shit away all the time. First come first serve of course. If you message them though, and throw them a few dollars to show them you’re serious they’ll usually hold whatever it is for a couple of hours.

Obligatory, we got a bad ass over here guys.

I mean the world needs ditch diggers to do nigger work. Good for you fren. 😁

Seriously though, I agree with you. Fuck “gyms”, and it’s always great to get a workout in at the same time you’re bettering your homestead. With that said, you should still be lifting heavy shit regularly fren, even if it’s just once a week. What you described was cardio IMHO.

Not everyone has a property, especially when it’s a million shekels an acre and you’re starting from scratch. On top of that, both your boomer tier parents never taught you how to survive in the world.

Hence why many turn to gaming to escape at an early age, usually middle school or high school.

A gym is a good place to start physical fitness. May be the only place for some.

When i use to go to the gym , before i had my own set up at home. Yes i was courteous to everyone there. When i saw a dude that was awkward or needed assistance i would help him. You could see right away that they just needed a helping hand and or just someone to guide them through some rough patch. Nothing homo going on. But some of these younger guys just need some reassurance that they are on the tight track.
