>The third position is, tragically, influenced by or even rooted in marxism
Do you have evidence for this?
Just because the communists co-opted various legitimate positions and more or less popularized them under a single name does not mean that every political philosophy that holds those positions is influenced by them. Them being communists.. That sentence ran on..
Communists never co-opted or fucked with third positionism, nor is third positionism communist. It came from a heterodox view of marxism in its own right. Some movements more than others.
Mussolini was literally a textbook marxist, in every single way in his early political career. He was booted from the Italian socialist party for advocating Italys entrance into ww1, among other things, and he became a bit of a political vagabond for a few years afterwards and absorbed multiple other ideologies into his worldview, and birthed fascism from this synthesis.
There were other contemporary proto-fascistic movements in western Europe at the time also, all influenced by marxism. Namely by georges sorel, a student of Marx who diverged very heavily from his original work. Mussolini was a *devout* student of sorel.
Georges Valois, a French precursor and contemporary to mussolini, was an anarcho-syndicalist who came under the influence of catholic integralism, and founded the Cercle Proudhon, which was a staunchly national, racial, and anti jewish movement. Also, influenced by georges sorel. Sorel's name is in every single third position movement *somewhere*. Valois founded the French fascist party le faisceau in 1925. He was in the extreme left camp of third positionism, ended up being a part of the French resistance and died in bergen-belsen (of typhus, naturally). But his influence on the overall ideology is palpable, and ironically it was another adherent of it that sent him to prison.
>every political philosophy that holds those positions is influenced by them
I would argue that every single political philosophy that holds these positions is, in fact, influenced by georges sorel. No sorel, no third position. No Marx, no sorel. Marxism is a double edged sword.
There's only a few options in the current post-industrial world for a working system. And only *one* option that is poison to the jews, and ironically, that option was birthed by heterodox marxists. Me personally, I'm not going to get into an existential crisis over it. The people who established third positionist movements did a damned fine job at removing the judaism from marxism and making something of it.
