Yes, he did.
Hitler NEVER wanted to "kill all the jews". He didn't even want to "kill all the commies." He was a PACIFIST in every sense of the word. It was his one weakness.
He truly believed that he could solve the problems in his nation by peacefully negotiating and working out issues.
It wasn't until much later that he started to realize how wrong he was, but by then it was too late.
The Anglo-Saxon people will not repeat the same mistake. When we wake up, we will not be seeking peaceful resolutions, but retribution and justice. We are one of the few european races who have no qualms about committing genocide and being known as bloodthirsty savages when the occasion calls for it.
The German people, however, tempered by brutal warfare throughout the medieval and even through the modern period, are far more kind and generous and welcoming than we have ever been. I appreciate them for it but I find them a bit naive.
