East Asian cultures are about face and community per Buddhism. This works far less well with them. Thailand is my favorite. They've basically got a saying that "enough is enough." When you've made enough money for the day, take off, let someone else pick up the business. No need to be greedy. At least, that's how a British expat explained it to me.
