Democracy leads to tyranny. You're immediately fractioning off groups and pitting them against each other. Under democracy politicians can pretend everything they do is the will of the people and it stifles any pushback. Louis the 14 who said "I am the state" was far more liberal than anything we have today. He couldn't draft subjects into the military, compel people to give a financial audit on themselves every year, and if he tried to ban wine the people would overthrow him immediately.

Democracy can only hope to remove the corrupted, not the corruption. The problems we face are systemic. Killing one health care CEO changes nothing. Getting rid of George soros will do nothing. JFK and Reagan were targeted because they went against the system. You will never convince women to vote to repeal the 19th amendment. You cannot change the system from inside the system.

It's so obvious in our day and age. I've listened to content creators covering Dylan mulvany before he became a cultural icon who bemoaned the fact that the Freddy Mercurys have disappeared and have been replaced with rainbow haired pot belly goblins who's entire identity revolves around being "oppressed" gay retards. That's communism for you though.

Interesting that the mises institute would host his book. I thought he was fairly critical of mises, even calling him out as the jew he is. I admittedly only listened to about the first half hour of this lecture.
