Unfortunately, they're still massively over represented in political discourse, probably because they all act like people should care about them, rather than younger generations who assume, correctly, that nobody cares.
Ironically, their delusion gives them more influence than others who just give up, even though they have little power to make actual changes to the system.
They're over-represented in political discourse because they over-represent themselves at the polling booth. Old people have nothing better to do than yell at the TV and then go vote against the thing on the TV they don't like. Also, the fact that many of them rely on entitlements to survive means they are an effective voting bloc, unlike other age groups which have highly varied needs and wants.
The only space left that tells boomers the world is all about them
