I believe it is a rendition of "Echo" from the Greek Mythology around Narcissus.

I like this style. not camera obscura obviously, but realistic and proper proportions but also with a slight abstract/surreal aspect to brush strokes and composition. they probably used a model and a real landscape to paint this? I know nothing about art or painting just typing things.

Most likely this model

many far-northern european women had wider, more defined jaws (even moreso in their men). some people called them square-heads or lantern-heads. I don't think it was because they had more T expressed as they went thru puberty, but instead just a consequence of genetics governing head-shape.

if you want to spot a crossdresser check the shoulder width, hips (of course), and torso proportions.

Back in the day it was either that or let women out of the house. They made the correct decision.
