Cents are copper-plated zinc. (Switched from copper in 1982)

Nickels are Cupro-nickel (75% Copper, 25% Nickel). Only coin to *not* change composition.

Dimes, quarters and halves are cupro-nickel 'clad' copper. Changed in 1965 from 90% silver, halves became 40% silver until 1971, when they became fully clad as well.
