Lower races develop faster and finish puberty sooner than Whites. Might sound like an advantage until you realize that humans take so long to develop compared to other mammals due to how long brain development takes.

I'd be willing to say black, Latino, and arab males are fully grown at 14-18. Whites and Asians 18-22.

Longer time to mature is healthier. The problem is a lack of robustness which is what you are actually noticing. They were more robust back then.
