I've written at length on how jews have been trying to push weed on us since before it was called weed. Look up Mezz Mezzrow, one of the jews behind 'the Jazz movement', and how he was America's first weed dealer. Originally, weed was named Mezz, after him, then renamed to 'tea', so the blacks they were courting for the jazz age would go to 'tea parties' etc. They had a whole rhyming lingo then too, known as jive.

This is probably the first successful cultural shift jews created, as the previous one ('the beatniks') largely failed. Apparently, they didn't know to tying 'the beat scene' to music and giving it a lingo was all would have taken. Jews later duplicated this approach en masse for the hippies.
