Something like 90% of people in politics are lawyers and business owners. That's how you get into a position of power and influence, not by changing oil, unclogging toilets or working a table saw. Fuck the trades. We need to reclaim the professional sector, start our own hedge funds, insurance companies, and other high-yield companies. That "working-class hero" shit isn't going to get us out of this hole.
while i think between "banksters" and "tradesmen", tradesmen win out, proponents of both paths to salvation are missing something: kids are being B O M B A R D E D from all fronts with degenerate media. not just news, but art-related things like movies, youtube videos, video games. fine carpentry and one governor in some local position won't save them and it won't have the highest possible impact.
we need inspiring art and media. stuff that shows there's even a possibility of an alternative. even if you homeschool your kids and only let them read classics from the 1800s, there's tens more that grow up on Minecraft Hot Alex Escapes Creeper and who are going to consider him disjointed, and perhaps he really would be.
i'm working on a serious, publishable video game myself with a small team, but i find it honestly terrible how long it took me to find a serious group of people, and not all of them are sympathetic to the cause (though they aren't hostile either, otherwise i wouldn't be wasting my time). i hope soon we can learn the value of art again and get more projects going as a collective. the likes of "Jesus and Kyle Kill The SJWs" or Synthwave Kike Death Adventures In Retroland are disgraces that should be drowned out.
