Theres actually a silver lining to this. Half breed offspring are so different than the white parent, that they’re immediately identified as being of a different race and sane individuals will avoid them as potential mating partners. The issue is that the fact they are so dark means that the white population has declined to the point that miscegenation no longer results in half-breeds who can possibly re-integrate into white culture.

Generally, race-mixing in a country is supposed to result in children who look more like the majority after multiple generations, which is why it historically wasnt outlawed in most countries even if it was heavily frowned upon.
