I can see that. But a lot of comic nerds don't actually read them, they just collect their favorite characters. There was some pushback in 2015ish time frame when Marvel released all their big woke bs like turning Iron Man into a black woman. There was also Eric July (black guy) trying to lead a push back against it but I never really followed it. I was a big comic nerd but I guess instead of fighting back I just quit buying them lol. If I did it was older issues. There's too many free reading sites and piracy options to ever need to pay for that crap anymore.
Eric July is the man. Last I heard his comic books were doing very well. Anti-woke and they state there won't be any retcon bs taking place.
Yea also there's so many alternate time lines and other BS, it doesn't matter if they do anything to the character like making them niggers or whatever since they've all died or turned evil or whatever so many times already. They can just make an entire gay universe and people just won't read that issue, they'll read another one.

That's the biggest cultural problem with capeshit; it pushes the resonsibility onto others who have powers that make them essentially non-human (a parallel to pantheism). Why would I even try to fight crime in my neighbourhood if I'm up against people who can shoot lasers from their eyes or singlehandedly knock buildings down?
The result is that the fans are literally waiting for Superman.
Gaming places you as the protagonist so gamers engage immediately when they see a problem. Even anime has a lot more heroes that follow the "human but becomes stronger through great effort of will" trope.
But capes have always been Jewish. "Leave all your problems to a small group of chosen people who are unquestioningly better than you, often insanely rich, and committed to good, but you can't know who they actually are". And later, with stuff like God Loves, Man Kills and Civil War we see regular people vilified as ungrateful bigots when they try to hold (((supers))) accountable.
I've enjoyed comics in the past, and there's no doubt that a lot of Whites have made great contributions to the culture through stories and artwork, but it was always going to end up this way: totally woke and trying to make fans think they're the bad guys.

Playing video games at least requires even the slightest level of effort. Watching or reading capeshit or, worse, "collecting" it, doesn't even require that.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Videogames are an entire medium that attracts average everyday people whereas capeshit is just a genre of fiction for literal retards.
Present day "nerds" completely fail at defending their communities from infiltrators that would have bullied them in the past, but now want to be "nerds" because it is seen as mainstream.
