seen a lot of them but i just cant quite piece together how to tell them all apart as quick as possible if these obvious red flags arent there. i want to just look at a profile and immediately tell them apart from real users as quickly as possible, but i cant so im looking for advice
Do they re-post a lot? shills are paid to push a specific narratives, this often includes posting the same thing over and over again.
Is the narrative repetitive? Look for patterns, a CCP shill for instance is always at the "America bad party", every post they make is gonna be something like: "China good, USA bad" Although CCP shills do similar comparisons to several European countries too. Legit users usually have more variation in talking points.
Is the data up to date? Look for data you know with absolute certainty. Shills often keep text files with outdated or outright false data saved somewhere which they then copy and paste on several platforms.
Does the "facts" make sense? In many cases claims made by shills are as absurd as the average holohoax story.
Does the opposition make a counter claim? If a shill is a red jew, it is often useful to check what the blue jew says. Even if it doesn't get you closer to the truth, at least it can indicate that something ain't right. That one of them, or both probably is lying.
Is the data cut on X? See above, when these shills copy and paste long text they often fail to notice that their pasted text is too long for X and the sentence cut's right in the middle. 🤡🌎
Do they post a lot? (quantity over quality) is often a sign of a shill, or a karma whore which ain't much better to be honest.
Is there any consistency? Look for hypocrisy and contradictions, although this is a lot harder to notice, it's often a sign of a shill. They can't keep their lies straight.
Last but not least, see community notes, or on this platform open the post and read a few of the top comments at least, but also controversial at the bottom. Other users may call out shills in the comments and shills may use mass down vote bot farms to send critics to the bottom in an attempt to silence them.
