"István Bocskai, was the Prince of Transylvania between 1605-1606. He fought against the Ottoman Empire during the Fifteen Years' War (1591-1606) as general of Prince Báthory, then he led an anti-Habsburg uprising in Upper-Hungary (today is Slovakia) between 1604-1606. In Peace of Vienna and Zsitvatorok, he secured the religious freedom of hungarian protestants (he was Calvinist) and put and end to the war between Habsburgs and turks. This is a congratulatory song, that his soldiers sang to him."
Calvinists are the ones who are basically atheists right? And i read this as him brokering a peace or truce of some sort. I'm sure it didn't hold *looks up daily news* Jawohl, did not hold.

No, Calvinists believe in double pre-destination, IE that God pre-destines some to be in Hell as well as in Heaven. The Catholic Church teaches that some people are pre-destined for Heaven, but that those who are in Hell are there of their own Free Will, as God doesn't desire anyone to be separated from Him, but does permit it if they truly desire something other than Him because He is no tyrant. Of course, to choose something other than God is to fall into sin and thus into the clutches of the devil, who is the greatest tyrant of all.
Okay thanks for clearing that up. Still sounds pretty vile though, and like Calvinists would deny people (Adamic or otherwise) the chance to work towards salvation. We are all sinners and we are all fallen and only through Christ Jesus can we be saved.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
