I think the Beast and Harlot referred in Revelations to might be more accurately applied to Communism/Zionism and the British Empire, which was essentially tossed to the wolves of the USSR and USA (which are both ultimately flagbearers for the Antichrist fake jews), though some interpret it as the Roman Empire continued in the HRE, which was ended around WWI with the destruction of Prussian Empire. Of course, the traditiona interpretation was that it was the Roman Empire under Nero, who was "reborn" in the policies of Julian the Apostate (who coincidentally was also a Zionist who tried to rebuild the temple) who tried and failed to re-paganize Rome.
