I mean Satan technically just means "Adversary", so it could be applied to demons in general, but when most people use it as a proper name, theyre referring to the chief demon.
I wonder if "Satyr" has any bearing on the perception of "Satan". Or maybe it's the other way around. I read somewhere that God gave Adamas (Man, Humanity?) a "true faith"? A God-worshipping faith that was the first and true and was there from the beginning, so "Proto-Christianity" is the oldest faith in the world and that heathenry and idolatry is therefore younger.
Anyways, tangent. Yes i see now, it looks more like a black hole. Consider also "Venus surface photographs" https://search.brave.com/images?q=Venus+surface&source=web ; Looks a lot like fiery hell. But i remember that the hades is described as cold and dank, with an odour to it that would kill us all if we smelled it on earth. And something about a bottomless pit like a well with a spiral staircase and black cubes?
