We should ensure that even the fittest women are considered below the bar for military service solely so we can also rid the military of effeminate men as well. Ultimately I think the US army should go back to how it was originally conceiver, to train officers who can serve as militia leaders during peace time and to organize the militias into a cohesive army during war time. A standing army is the enemy of a free people, and I would add a professional police force as well, outside of the major population centers of course.
