I want to serve Christ but i am tired of this weak rhetoric; "Deny the world" "True Christians have no enemies" etc. How can it be "Godly" or "Christian" to only pray if, Lord forbid, your children are killed, instead of also seeking vengeance and satisfaction ✝️ JESUS ✝️

Its all well fine and good and respectable that people go down the path of sheltered monasticism, and i don't know what he has experienced in life, but this just seems wrong and weak.

You forgive them unless you have some *direct* mandate that God has given you special dispensation.

Failing that ... it's always better to beg forgiveness (confession) than to ask for permission.
