I want to serve Christ but i am tired of this weak rhetoric; "Deny the world" "True Christians have no enemies" etc. How can it be "Godly" or "Christian" to only pray if, Lord forbid, your children are killed, instead of also seeking vengeance and satisfaction ✝️ JESUS ✝️

Its all well fine and good and respectable that people go down the path of sheltered monasticism, and i don't know what he has experienced in life, but this just seems wrong and weak.

I'm sorry but i'm not a Lamb. Christ in Sacrifice was the Lamb.

Understand that God is, by definition, Good and the absolute best thing you can do for yourself is to give yourself over to God's path for you, even if it brings pain (and it certainly will).

If you love yourself, you must want the best for yourself, which means surrendering to God.

Remember that you, as a child of Eve, are capable of Good and evil. Submitting to God's will is not to become a puppet, but to let go of everything about yourself except what is Good. It is still your will, but it is the absolute best of what you could be.
