I'm sure there are a handful that have their heads on straight (the same as how there are a few millenials that look at the culture today and tear their hair out) but I've yet to meet one.

Remember, atmospheric lead levels in the 70s and early 80s from the leaded gasoline were high enough to cause brain damage.

It doesn't seem to reduce their lifespan, from a statistical perspective, but look up the effects of acute lead poisoning on the brain and stuff starts making sense.
