Further, wouldn't you read that as "*All* currencies, including the smallest, should be abolished"? Like you say, they already got rid of the smallest currency...creating another smallest currency.

My concern with the penny is that (((bankers))) and (((investors))) all seem to make massive amounts of profits off of tiny bits of money (even less than a penny) over many transactions. By removing the penny, they're saying "No one who works outside our electronic money systems will be allowed access to this type of profit" and all the worries about crypto already apply to all electronic money.
