it wouldnt have been had a lot of other stuff not been subverted first. Christianity did not fall overnight, there was a slow creep of Heresy backed by the jews that created the modern abomination we see today.
He may be loving and merciful, but He is also All Just. We should be like Him and grant mercy to the repentant and uncompromising justice to the reprobate.
