The war is not over. The EU is involved in it, and Britain is about to send troops. jewlensky already asked for nuclear missiles too. They've already gotten insane amount of money and resources. The US money is not required, just beneficial. The EU takes its part to include ukraine into the EU, ENSURING the war will continue and get more heated.
