Basically what I already predicted, as the scale flips between red jew and blue jew every 4 year, nobody bothers to think long term. The sane thing to do would of course be to raise taxes and pay off as much debt as possible. But no president would ever do that as it makes them look bad.
Short term is so much easier, were debt is increased, and voters are bribed. To pay back that debt and interest on top of it is the problem of future generations. They really do have that boomer mentality.
