So theyre trying to live like the early Church, which mostly lived a communal life out of necessity due to the persecution they faced.
Also ironic they claim that the inability to divorce and the requirement to ask to court is a bad thing. The only issue I see with this sect outside of likely some form of schismatic heresy is that they claim they dont proselytize, which is kinda the entire point of Christianity, even if you are doing it with words, you should be doing it with deeds.
