Similarly, The Guinness Book of World Records started out as a giveaway to bars carrying Guinness beer to settle bar bets. Some say it later became a grift, but meh.

Consume Product is not meanspirited. Being mean for petty reasons is not the Consume Product way. Lead by example, be the change you want to see.
