Its possible they were just rubbing shoulders at some meeting for famous people, considering in that image she looks like she wants nothing to do with him. A lot of criticism of her has come from anti-theist types (read, spiritual jews) trying to misinterpret what she said about the necessity of suffering or complaining she wasnt feminist. I really think she was well above board, though allegedly she did mishandle some funds.
