Being an adult who gets all hyped up about watching professional sports is super gay, not to mention sports are a way to reroute the anger we should be feeling right now about our world being in enemy hands, but ultimately, sports are great for kids to play for a lot of reasons. Sports generally keep kids away from drugs, aside from alcohol when they get into their late teens. Sports are form of simulated combat that boys desperately need to experience so they learn how to work as a team to dominate the enemy or some specific challenge. Sports teach boys about the rewards of hard work and that hard work doesn’t always payoff, in that case sports teach kids how to deal with failure like men should, by addressing the issues that led to failure so they can succeed next time. Sports cultivate numerous traits in boys that are an integral part of become strong in mind, body and spirit….but I think most kids are so swept up by technology these days they want no part of physical activity, which is a dangerous thing in our current climate because our society could turn into a SHTF type of reality any day now, and the things that sports cultivate in young men could be the difference between life and death for a lot of western men
