No disrespect intended and I'm not trying to be an edge-lord, but there's no shortcut to self discipline.
If you want to stop stuffing your face, each time you feel compelled to do so, stop, acknowledge the compulsion and tell yourself, "I want to stuff my face but I choose not to because it's not who I want to be".
Using this logic will help your brain stop dwelling on "stuffing your face" because it will feel like that issue has been resolved using facts.
It takes about 60 days for your brain to adopt a new habit until it becomes incorporated as your normal behavior.
It's also likely you're not eating enough protein, so you are becoming hungry between meals... and because your body is always terrified of starvation and the need to survive, it seeks unhealthy carbs as a fast and dirty solution.
