Focus on the kids. Make sure they know that the systems they're seeing are not supposed to work this way.
Kids aren't dumb and can recognize patterns as well as an adult, but they lack context. That's how they get tricked into blaming their own race for their problems. But if they know who the actors are, what their flags means, and what their goal is, they won't even need to wake up because they won't fall asleep in the first place.
The millenials are a write of, but generation Zyklon has a lot of potential. Try to connect them with people with actual experience so they can get technically profficient.
