I seriously can't even talk to people I agree with about politics anymore.
Either Trump walks on fucking water or he's the literal embodiment of Satan.
I'm happy with 90%+ of the shit he's doing in his second term, but if I offer any criticism of the Messiah, normally rational people just lose their fucking minds.
And liberals have been completely insane for at least a decade now, so nothing new there.

Its evidence that politics has just become another circus where people pick a "team" and support it instead of actual policies.
Notice how this obsession was nearly nonexistent prior to 2011 for matters outside of hobbies.
