I seriously can't even talk to people I agree with about politics anymore.
Either Trump walks on fucking water or he's the literal embodiment of Satan.
I'm happy with 90%+ of the shit he's doing in his second term, but if I offer any criticism of the Messiah, normally rational people just lose their fucking minds.
And liberals have been completely insane for at least a decade now, so nothing new there.

I had a temp job last fall, canvassing for a Repub candidate in my area. I saw the same shit and call it PDS - political derangement syndrome.
I would ask about the Senate race and so many dumb people would say "I'm not voting for Trump" or "I'm voting for Trump". I would look at them like they are dumb and slowly say Trump is not running for Senate in <State>. Many did not know who was running for Senate in our state.

Nope. He heard a story about RFK on Rogan (didn't actually watch it directly) where he found a dead bear and was going to eat it but changed his mind and dumped the body at the city dump, or something. I'm just sitting there thinking "We're in Canada, what the hell are you talking about?".
It all comes from the media these people consoom. They have no critical thinking, not even "why should I care about this".
