They inhale and exhale the oxygen-rich fluid just like air. That's why you put the babies upside down when they were born so that they can let out the fluid in their lungs

A sperm cell is just a cell that contains a perfect copy of the father's DNA. An egg cell is a factory cell thay contains an exact copy of the mother's DNA. Those are not babies.
A fertilized zygote contains, within the first few days after conception, a synthesis of the father's and mother's DNA that is completely distinct from either. Whose DNA is it, then? The new human being that was conceived.
