Take a lesson from the bolsheviks and just use force and violence
Or play the long game and have a couple of our guys commission into the military, manage to make a senior officer rank, and throw a coup d'état. This is probably a giant larp though. I imagine that they brainwash senior officers quite a bit over time to avoid exactly this.
Or play the longer game and wait for everything to collapse and act accordingly whenever it does, because it will. Just maybe not in our lifetimes.
