I checked it out. The claim was first added today. Then it's been removed and added a few times back and forth. The original reference was a link to http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/01/05/news/CB-GEN-Guantanamo-Millennium-Plot.php, which is a dead link and redirects to the New York Times. Using the wayback machine I found [one archive from 2008 for that URL](https://web.archive.org/web/20081202220914/http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/01/05/news/CB-GEN-Guantanamo-Millennium-Plot.php) that appears to be related to the title in the link. It does mention the same judge, but nothing about his jewyness.

tl;dr he might be jewish but this is probably someone trolling.

While we may recognize that his kike status is most certainly notable, the average normie does not. I can't say for certain if this article was edited maliciously or not, but I think it's worth noting that "raised in a Jewish family" still appears lower in the article. They just removed it from the lead.
