He probably got himself backed into a corner and realized that if he did something, they would have probably went for him and his family. Jews have absolute control. At this time though, some people weren't completely brainwashed and were instead motivated through fear

It’s not uncommon once you enter American politics it’s a completely shit show where you’ll be working with people you never expected. It’s extremely complicated for the reasons it doesn’t have to be for and bloats the entire government but apparently democracy is “the only good system that should never die”
