Yes. It will be more like EVE Online and Elite Dangerous, but quite different. The overall design will resemble Battlestar Galactica - with kinetic and explosive weaponry. Meaning extended battles with Gatling guns, cannons and missiles firing at each other will be the standard. And a hint to Starship Troopers/Helldivers 2. For one you can travel in free flight - so if you see a distant star, you can simply travel to it and then go to its planets, moons or sites.
It's also a global single-realm MMO. So every player can meet every other player. Anti-cheat is server side, meaning it's non-intrusive. The chat will be unmoderated, except to prevent spamming. Nobody can stop you expressing your opinions about niggers and kikes in space. I also thought about creating a single-player alternative, which shouldn't be hard, just in case.
There is a heavy emphasis on combat, customization and progression too. You can play solo or with others (coop). Either with multiple ships, or having other players as copilots. The NPCs will have overarching AIs, meaning they will act more organically as a collective. They occupy large territories and have patrols around it, and they will harass players. If they sustained quite some losses, like having their outposts destroyed, they'll be more defensive for a while. They can also be completely eradicated - in which case they'll send a convoy to occupy a new territory.
I hope I can simply just sell the game and work on an expansion and make money honestly. I really don't want to flood it with shitty tricks like micro-transactions. I'll publicize it officially when it is sufficiently done and I can show real combat footage. I won't make a cinematic-like demo.
As of the setting - the players will be in a futuristic fascist White-only faction, which happens to violently oppose all others. The other factions happen to be exiled jews, shitskins, malfunctioning robots, and in other galaxies various types of aliens. Niggers will not exist because, come on, interstellar travel is already hard to achieve, and with niggers around it's just not imaginable.

Oh now that's quite interesting!
>For one you can travel in free flight - so if you see a distant star, you can simply travel to it and then go to its planets, moons or sites.
That almost sounds like the kind of exploration you can do in No Man's Sky. That's something I really like and enjoy.

Thank God for that! Tired of these kernel-level spyware anti-cheats, completely unnecessary. Most of the time, just having it all server-sided is enough to prevent cheating, as opposed to something like Diablo II where the save and some other things were local instead of server-sided, which allowed cheating. I'm personally not against cheating in single-player/offline, but I don't like it in multiplayer games.

Just the way I like it, kek.
>I also thought about creating a single-player alternative, which shouldn't be hard, just in case.
Please do. 70% of my entire game library is single-player.
>There is a heavy emphasis on combat, customization and progression too.
Sounds great.
>Either with multiple ships, or having other players as copilots. The NPCs will have overarching AIs, meaning they will act more organically as a collective.
So we can have an entire fleet, then?
>I hope I can simply just sell the game and work on an expansion and make money honestly.
That's what I would prefer, because:
>I really don't want to flood it with shitty tricks like micro-transactions
I really fucking hate this kind of shit^

Already sold on it, kek.
I seriously hope this all comes to fruition and I wish you the best of luck and success with it. Some of our people have tried to make games, but most of it has been low-effort, barely-playable and barely-enjoyable trash. It would be nice for one of us to finally make a proper, full-fledged game of quality. Not expecting AAA, here.

The way it is now should make it quite possible. And the game has a PvE focus, so everything must be optimized for solo play as well. It should be well suited for single-player.

I thought more about player sizes of 1-5 to do things, but if enough players gather up, sure why not. I'll have to see if raids are popular enough. It should be quite possible to create raid content - with some powerful faction that simply requires multiple players.

Thanks. It will be my next source of income, so I'm locked into it. It won't be one of those throwaway games where the devs look if it sticks on the wall. It's quite a big project.
