The Seneate judicary Commission's report on worldwide jewish population in 1948 concluded the population to be at 15.8 million, which is 0.5 million higher than in 1933. This would be in line with population growth including a decline of approximately 300,000-500,000 jews with natural deaths and associated birthrate. This would conclude that only about 250,000 jews died in concentration camps, which would be reasonable since most deaths would have happened in the north eastern camps which were "liberated" by the russians, and consequently were the only ones which were reportedly death camps, even though they would have needed either mass graves or crematoriums which were capable of completely eradicating een the bones which even modern crematoriums cannot do.
