People who were historically Phoenicians are not Arabs. Neither are Copts or Zoroastrians. Or Berbers. Or even the original red-headed Moors (what we call "Moors" today are not the same Moors that built all that architecture).

What we call "Arabs" are an interbred, Africanized perversion of Levantine and Turkic peoples originating from what are now Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Southern Syria. Aggression is in their DNA. As they mixed with people from adjoining nations like Sudan for instance (as well as gypsies), they became more barbaric, and once the Ottoman Empire ruled that entire part of the world and forced Islam on them, all bets were off.

I'm not Phoenician, Coptic, Zoroastrian, or Berber. My people originated in Ancient Mesopotamian. We look more like Arabs than say, Lebanese, in the sense that there are some of us who are a bit tanner. But, there's still a pretty clear cut distinction to be made.

Your definition of Arab isn't correct either, by the way. They're just people who originated from the Arabian Peninsula. They're aggressive, dark, and dumb because they evolved in a harsh, nearly equatorial, desert landscape dominated by tribal warfare, without a semblance of civility in sight. There isn't evidence of significant African admixture.
