(Masoretic versions are still mostly usable, it's a dozen or so verses pointing to Christ that seem to be altered (often subtly), especially in Isaiah and Psalms, but also Esther there's entire sections missing, Hosea, etc... So it just helps to know where these issues are at minimum and continue to raise awareness, we need more English translations using the Septuagint, as almost none do but Brenton's OT Septuagint and the EO study Bible's OT).
