Does anyone know of a good rotisserie cooker?

My mom wants to hand off a 20 year old Ronco Ron one to me. I like the brand but I think the thing is about to start on fire. The new Ronco Ron stuff looks like garbage. I've looked at convection ovens that have a rotisserie option, but it seems like a gimmick.

I have a convection oven with a rotisserie option. It works well enough, but you need to remember the size of the oven when you plan what to cook. If you cook a large chicken, it won't fit properly. Also, always use a drip tray, which you might need to empty while the food is cooking.

Have you considered rebuilding it?

How much can you rebuild on one of those? If the heating element goes out, there's not much you can do. The motor is likely some random Chinese motor.
